We were the first producer of Purified Terephthalic Acid (“PTA”) in Thailand. Purified Terephthalic Acid
and Monoethylene Glycol (“MEG”) are the two principal raw materials used to produce polyester, which is a principal feedstock used by the textile industry to produce fibers and yarns. PTA is also used in the manufacture of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles, microwave utensils, x-ray and photographic film, containers, and certain products used in the automobile industry, such as car parts and roof linings, and hygiene industries, such as diapers and sanitary napkins.

Our PTA plant is located in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong province, where we are a part of Thailand’s major petrochemicals industrial cluster.
Our current nameplate production capacity is
520,000 tons per year.
The principal feedstock for the production of PTA is paraxylene. We purchase substantially all of our
paraxylene pursuant to long-term contracts with
PTT that provide for delivery from Aromatics Thailand’s paraxylene plant located next to our PTA plant.

We have the honor to supply locally made PTA
to support polyester and PET industry both in the local Thailand
market and overseas market. We sell PTA to domestic customers
pursuant to supply long term contract basis and sell it to
our overseas customers with long term contract or spot basis.
