Our PTA plant is powered by an on-site cogeneration plant, which is owned and operated by our subsidiary TPT Utilities Company Limited . Although our principal product is PTA, our cogeneration plant - TPTUC also generates utilities, namely,
power, steam and de-mineralized water (together, “utilities”) not only to support
the production of PTA, but also to cater the needs of neighboring plants.

with competitive price, high quality and reliable energy supplies.

Our cogeneration plant has a production capacity of up to 55 MW of electricity.
Each of the two boilers that power the cogeneration plant has a production capacity of 140 tons of steam per hour that is pressurized up to 100 kg/cm². In addition, the water treatment unit that forms part of the cogeneration plant is able to treat raw water to produce up to 1,000 tons of treated water per hour, 270 tons of de-mineralized water per hour and 90 tons of ultra de-ionized water per hour.
