Our cogeneration plant, which is located
adjacent to our PTA plant, was constructed
principally to provide electricity and steam to our PTA plant.
The plant has the capacity to
provide us with the electricity and steam we currently require
to run our PTA plant and the required electricity and steam to
the customers with whom we have
supply agreements.

Our cogeneration plant has a production capacity of up to 55 MW of electricity.
Each of the two boilers that power the cogeneration plant has a production capacity of 140 tons of steam per hour that is pressurized up to 100 kg/cm2. In addition, the water treatment unit that forms part of the cogeneration plant is able to treat raw water to produce up to 1,000 tons of treated water per hour, 270 tons of de-mineralized water per hour and 90 tons of ultra de-mineralized water per hour. |

The Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) awarded
our cogeneration plant
with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004
Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational
Health and Safety Management System certification, which signified
that we have satisfied certain international quality management
standards in our power generation operations.
